High Performance or not?

You think your think, it’s so true. So many business owners blame all, but themselves for their poor career and business decisions.

Let’s be clear here. Yes, experience does have a factor in good decisions and growth, but ultimately “high performance thinking” can only come from a high-performance investment in oneself first.

Take a good hard look at yourself and your internal knowledge, and again let’s be clear, I’m not banging on about the over rated IQ (Intelligence Quotient), but the under discovered EQ (Emotional Quotient), that everybody has equal potential of, if recognised and understood.

You may feel it’s a little insensitive of me to claim that so many failed businesses blame everyone else. But if not recognised, this unnecessary continued ‘Jurassic’ emotional failure will remain a stronghold in the annual figures of “The Failed Business” report.

Ask yourself this: Are you a high-performance thinker?

If you’ve answered yes, then how do you know this is the case, have you tested your high-performance thinking to grade its level of reliability?

It has no matter if your business is local, international, remote or home based. Realise it or not, you are in direct competition with other businesses. You should always be aiming to out think your competitors by using your natural, high-performance You Think your Think!

High Performance or not?

‘thinking ingredients’, to productively keep ahead in your field of trade and service.

So, what are these ‘ingredients’ that make up the high-performance thinking person?

We could grow a list that has unlimited opinions, that’s been generated by a thousand corporate experienced ego’s. But, just for this discussion, let’s give those over-exhausting egos a rest today and keep to what authenticates reality.

So, let’s pick three ingredients that will organically allow for the same potential to every given person, regardless of one’s experience:

1. Wisdom

2. Productive realisations

3. Daily insights

Each of these powerful, yet vitally subtle mind tools, can be accessed by any given individual at any given time throughout life!

What does it take to use these powerful organic mind tools?

Well here it is, nothing other than recognition and space in mind, over chitter chatter, reacting thoughts and self-invited negative feelings.

Wow, that’s so easy. Basically, your thinking creates your ‘think’, your ‘think’ creates your feelings, your feelings create your decisions, and your decisions determine the actions that finally create your outcome.

This has nothing to do with anybody else’s influence, just yours. Ask yourself this question, “am I a reactor or responder to my life, my career and my business decision making?”

Not sure of your answer?

Let’s briefly touch on both react and respond faculties to support the bigger picture of our thinking.

Recognise the difference your “react” and “respond” emotions have on others and the value you bring when you choose the right one. It is a huge advantage when you invest these emotions correctly within life and business. It’s your solution for success.

YOUR MIND DOES MATTER TO YOUR BUSINESS!!

Don’t underestimate its importance. Don’t allow your ego to get the better of you when analysing and working on this wealth of discovery while on your path to brilliance.

To react is to give your experience and emotional intelligence a disservice to its abilities and creative growth. So, in short you are robbing your potential of future success in every way.

Quick tip to recognise a reactive emotion; When you already have your answer in place before the other person has finished talking, you are reacting, and not engaged or interested at that point. It’s your ego that is now listening and holding the conversation, and all in business will know, a selfish ego can never create wealth. Be aware of your self-monkey chat when assuming you are listening.

To respond means you have listened. This is a true investment to your success; a good listener is rich in all emotional values, as they will give thought and reserve the time for a structured answer with another’s emotional growth taken into consideration. In short, a good business person regardless of their experience is always a good listener and will listen, with a reserved ear, to their biased answer.

Quick tip to recognise a respond emotion; When engaged in conversation with the other person, clear your thoughts and listen, do not chat with your own thoughts at the same time. To resist listening is to limit your possibilities and success.

So, let’s get back to your “high performance think”. When you allow your thoughts to have the time to process and the space for these three powerful ingredients to come forward, they are life and history makers in one, and absolutely IQ free. They bring man, woman and all of humanity into equal share of complete success.

Phew, now isn’t that a fantastic thought? So, let’s look a little closer at what a ‘wow’ moment might look like.

Well, it’s that split second when an insight or realisation slaps you so hard with an idea or change of thought, you felt completely uplifted and almost high on natural think adrenaline.

You have no conscious thought from where the ground changing eruption came from but just absolutely know it was all of you and more of you. There it is ladies and gents, “high performance thinking”, the creator of many successes in life.

So where do you start, what’s your investment in you?

Listen and allow, surround yourself with those who are seasoned in this process. You cannot get on track by those who are not on track. I’ve been coaching this process, through my executive business coaching programmes, for many years.

The message here is, this process is not an exhausting test of more education in investment and time, but merely allowing the natural law of one’s given right to remember and re-introduce the organic intelligence that we all have, called POTENTIAL & CREATIVITY.

Emotions are your values and your values are your business!
